ANTS is a Java-based toolkit for constructing an active network and
its applications. ANTS will run on any JDK 1.1.x or better. It also
runs on Kaffe (v1.0.6 or better). ANTS relies on the
Janos Java NodeOS.
ANTS2 is a merge of two branches of ANTS: the ANTSR work done here at
the University of Utah,
and the ANTS 1.2 and ANTS 1.3 releases made by the
University of Washington.
