Midterms
The first midterm will be held on Friday, Feb 20, 2014. It will last
the duration of the class. Here is a
study guide. The format of
the actual midterm will be different. The midterm will cover everything up to Gauss-Jordan Elimination.
The midterm will certainly contain questions not covered in the study guide. You
may use a calculator, but not a graphing calculator.
The second midterm will be held on Friday, April 3, 2015. It will last the
duration of class. Here is a study guide.
The format of the actual midterm will again be different. The midterm covers
Chapters 4 and 5, and will likely contain questions not covered in the study
guide. The study guide contains a few topics from outside 4 and 5 that you are
not required to know. Again, you may use a calculator, but not a graphing
calculator.

Final
The final is scheduled for Wednesday, May 6, 1-3 pm (http://registrar.utah.edu/academic-calendars/final-exams-spring2015.php).
It will be comprehensive and cover everything from the beginning of the
semester. The same rules as the midterm apply.
A practice final is here. The
format of the actual final exam will be different. The final covers the parts of
Chapters 1,2,3,4,5,6,7,9 and 10 that we covered in class.
