Scholarship Opportunity!!!

Dear Student,

The University of Utah is currently accepting applications for the Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship and Excellence in Education Program for the 2016-17 academic year. The Goldwater Scholarship was created to encourage outstanding students to pursue research careers in mathematics, the natural sciences, or engineering and to foster excellence in those fields. This is an excellent opportunity for you to win a national scholarship which provides up to $7,500 annually in tuition, room, board, and appropriate expenses. You must be a current sophomore or junior to apply. The University of Utah will nominate four students to the national competition.

You can pick up a packet of application materials from the College of Science Dean’s Office (220 JTB). The University internal application deadline is Monday, November 23, 2015.
