Re: GNU and MzScheme's Internal design

Just a short note on my previous emails

 (1) Sorry for bringing up such tiresome topics -- I should
have thought of boredom factor in writing that message.
All arguments probably have been tread and retread
on both sides of the fence in other emails since
the beginning of GPL and the first Scheme interpreter.

(2) I do not mean to disparage MzScheme -- it is
a great system, otherwise I would not be in this
mailing list. I just could not use it because of my own
set of reasons (a number of which have been very poorly
spelled out), thatz all.

(3) I think writing one's own interpreter sometimes
is a good thing. Not even MzScheme, while really good, can be
used for all purposes. Tailoring, rewriting,
and earning all aspects of a great system
for adaptation sometimes can be too much --
(and I don't mean just extending it with c++
or c primitives) Writing a small interpreter
which borrows a limited set of ideas from
a great system sometimes can be much easier,
because of adaptation cost.
