Major Applications

If you have completed all of the premajor requirements by this Spring semester then you can apply for major status for Fall 2015.  Applications will be open on May 11 at http://www.cs.utah.edu/undergraduate/undergraduate-admissions/ for the CS/CS EAE major and CS minor status.  Once you have your grades and your GPA, you are welcome to apply.

Applications will be reviewed starting May 19th when the spring grades are available. If you have a 3.5 GPA and 3.5 pre-major GPA, you will most likely be notified before the application closes.  If your GPA is below 3.5, your application will be reviewed after the application closes around the end of May. You will be notified if your application has been accepted or denied within the first two weeks of June.

Once you have received your acceptance letter then you can register for CS 3500 and CS 3810. Until then you can add them to your shopping cart, but this does not save a spot in the class for you. If you are accepted to the major or minor, you will be guaranteed a spot in CS 3500 and 3810.
