Internship Opportunity!

The internship position will work up to 20 hours per week, with an extremely flexible work schedule.
This position will contribute to the development of innovative mobile software to support business needs. The mobile software development team builds and supports our data warehousing, mobile content, and deployment system products. The team uses agile and test-driven development practices for new development as well as refactoring and enhancing existing software. All work is done in a team setting with a focus on team accountability and success. 

Desirable Technical Skills
  • iOS development experience
  • C/C++, Objective-C, Java, C#
  • Analyze and optimize mobile product and infrastructure code
  • System architecture and common performance tradeoffs
  • Database principles, processes, technologies,and tools (data modeling, design)
  • Test Driven Development
  • HTML/CSS/JavaScript
Desirable Functional Skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • High comfort level interacting with colleagues
  • Ability to adapt to change and learn new technologies quickly
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Participate as a team member in planning sprints, software design, and developing and testing features
  • Provide feedback to colleagues through code reviews and pair programming
  • Actively solicit and incorporate feedback from clients and internal stakeholders on new software features and designs.
  • Research and present new technologies to the software development team

Education & Relevant Experience

  • Completed at least 2nd year of coursework for a BS/BA in Computer science, information systems, or other technology/science degree.
