Daniel Reed, SVPAA elected Chair-Elect of AAAS

University of Utah’s Senior Vice President of Academic Affairs Daniel Reed was elected Chair-Elect for the Information, Computing, and Communication section of American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).
The Chair serves the first year as Chair-Elect, the second year as Chair, and the third year as Retiring Chair. During their tenure they nominate and review Fellows, propose and review Annual Meeting symposia, lead the section business meeting, serve on the Electorate Nominating Committee, and represent section interests on the Council.
