This fall the School of Computing welcomes 96 new graduate students to our MS and PhD degree programs, of those new students 28 are fully funded PhD students. The majority of these new PhD students are recipients of our new Fellowship funding program.
The Fellowship program provides students a full year of academic support allowing them the freedom to take courses and seminars to explore research areas and get to know professors within the School. Throughout the first year, the Fellowship students will not have RA or TA responsibilities; however, there are opportunities to do independent study and to take research credits with individual professors, which could lead to potential research opportunities and experiences.
