Capture the Flag event

March 7, 2017

Hello Students!

Are you longing for a technical challenge that would blow your thinking caps away?
Feel saturated attending coding contests and want to conquer the domain of Cyber security, for a change?

Join the University of Utah ACM and Lucid Software for a jeopardy style Capture the Flag (CTF) event. What’s a CTF?
Put your security skills to the test: exploit vulnerabilities, crack crypto and reverse engineer software to earn points and prizes.
When?
March 25, 2017 (Saturday)  9AM – 2PM
Where?
Warnock Engineering Building, CS Undergrad Lab (WEB 130)
Incentives?
$500 in prizes  –  Free lunch  –  T-shirts for all participants
REGISTER HERE:  https://www.golucid.co/ctf
Remember: The challenge is not always to be a world-class “hacker”, this event will also keep in mind absolute NEWBIES – often times, all you would need is a sound knowledge of computer science fundamentals and a tendency to think out of the box.
