I've never had much success with FastCGI in getting the claimed
performance benefits, so I'll try the PLT web server first, thanks.

Yes, that paper keeps hopping in and out of my files (ie I read it
often) since Shriram sent me a link to it from a discussion in
comp.lang.scheme some time ago.
