I found a bug and fixed it. Chris reports that the revised MrEd.exe
works on his machine, so maybe I fixed *the* bug.

If anyone else has seen the 100%-of-CPU problem in Windows, please try

    http://www.cs.utah.edu/~mflatt/tmp/mred.zip

(contains a replacement MrEd.exe) and let me know whether it works.

The change is also exp-tagged in CVS.
