Sorry about that.  I've added documentation to the
connection-structures.scm and connection-interface.scm files, and
I've also included a sample program in samples/sample1.scm.  The new
package is at
http://www.owlnet.rice.edu/~ryanc/spgsql/spgsql-02pre01.tar.gz. 
There are also some small but significant fixes to error reporting. 
I've also put the sample program up at
http://www.owlnet.rice.edu/~ryanc/spgsql/sample.txt.

If you have any comments or suggestions about how query results are
returned, I'd love to hear them.  I'm not totally happy with the way
that works, and it was on my list of things to rewrite soon.
