The new 2019 spring newsletter for the College of Engineering is out, and it’s chock full of stories about our continued success.
The cover story profiles the work of School of Computing professor Mary Hall, both on her research developing new compiler technologies for super computers and her devoted work in improving gender and ethnic diversity in computing.
There is also a bevy of new faculty awards, and an alumni spotlight on Ed Catmull, the former head of Pixar Animation, who retired last year after an illustrious career in computer movie animation.
