ANN: New Moab snapshot



			     Moab NodeOS
			    -------------

We are pleased to announce a new snapshot of Moab, the Janos NodeOS.
Moab is the lowest layer of Janos and essentially follows the draft
NodeOS specification.  Moab runs either on bare x86 hardware via the
OSKit or on top of a suitable Unix-like environment: Linux, Solaris,
or FreeBSD.

New in this version:

 * A prototype implementation of events.  Allows registering of periodic
   and one-shot callbacks.

 * Explicit threads.  Flows can optionally be created with a list of
   pre-allocated thread objects.

 * Packet scheduler.  A new stride scheduler for outgoing network packets
   has been added.  Allows for simple, proportional-share scheduling of
   outgoing bandwidth.

 * More reorganization to support the tightly-coupled NodeOS/EE model.
