The recent increase in the perceived terrorist threat has emphasized
the need for improved infrastructure security. This conference aims to
find practical solutions to infrastructure security problems by
providing a forum for attendees from government, industry and academia
to present innovative ideas, applications and practical experiences on
relevant topics.

The objective is to promote security research and the development of practical solutions in the security of infrastructures - both Government and Commercial - such as the effective prevention, detection, reporting, response and recovery from security incidents. At the same time, technical solutions need to address issues such as safety, public awareness, civil liberties and cross-border policy. There will be a panel discussion to address these critical areas. We will also be interested in case studies: what solutions have been useful in practice and why, and progress on any existing critical infrastructure initiatives.

Topics include but are not limited to:
Security Engineering Infrastructure design
New technologies and vulnerabilities Disaster Recovery
