IPSEC Global Summit October 26-29, 2000 Paris WWW Link The IPSec Global Summit is the only international conference dedicated essentially to IPSec. More than 150 specialists and users attended the 1999 Summit held October 26 to 29 in Paris at La Defense The success of the event resides in the quality of the speakers, the pertinence of the themes tackled and the world-wide acclaimed reputation of Upper Side as a competent organizer of telecommunications conferences. These include the MPLS Forum, European Frame Relay Convention, Media Gateway Control Conference and QoS Summit. In conjunction with the conference cycle, an exhibit space was set up for IPSec major players to promote their products and solutions.(see info about the last edition) The year 2000 Summit will take place on September 13-15 in Paris at La Defense. Organizers are aiming to draw an audience of 250. The Conference Priority will be given to user case studies broken down into different sectors (banking, industry, etc.) as well as feedback from large international trials (the European ACTS and GMD Fokus projects, the NTT test and so on). Besides such first-hand experience, the conference cycle will tackle IPSec's technological aspects in detail and its key growth prospects, notably the challenge of providing end-to-end secure communication links or integrating the protocol in mobile networks (see details in the Call for Papers). The Exhibition In conjunction with the conference, an exhibition hall will allow vendors to expound upon the purely marketing aspects of their solutions (service offerings, equipment). A communications campaign in the trade press is planned for this purpose. Upper Side guarantees the technical quality and pertinence of the topics presented during the conference cycle.
